Cultivating Sexiness

 

It started from a simple conversation in a breakout session of a Zoom meeting. In this circle of sisterhood, women were sharing their ideas and pondering over the words to use in the title of an upcoming virtual event. I instantly thought of the word ‘sexy’, it was a perfect fit in my mind, however, it was met with some resistance as I was informed by the group that it is a Christian event! The word ‘sexy’ would simply be inappropriate to place in the title. In defense of all things Godly, I declared, but God created sexy.

There was a brief moment of silence as the words had to penetrate into the minds of the listening parties. One of the Sisters then commented, “I have never heard anyone use the words God and sexy in the same sentence.” I reiterated God Created Sexy.

A fresh revelation was released at the moment and many women longed to continue a more in debt conversation with a desire to gain more clarity of this concept that shifted their trajectory. Somewhere in our society, a myth has been received as a divine truth corrupting the minds of women, leading them to believe that they are not able to embody sexiness along with salvation. Actually, in some cases, it is so deeply rooted, that divine intervention is absolutely necessary to disrupt this thought pattern.

My driving passion is to create a platform inviting women to fully embrace every part of their being without guilt, shame, or condemnation. From my previous conversations, I sense that many women are seeking a safe haven to authentically show up to have real conversations without judgement to address the stigmas of religion and other traumas dealt by life. It is with this premise in mind that I invite you into “The SEXY ZONE.”
